Received mine. Played with it for a couple minutes - seems to work. No details on the problems mentioned here with volume, latency yet until I get more seat time with it.
One thing I did notice, while waiting on the connecting screen, the device wasn't appearing in my bluetooth device list on the phone. I decided to tap the screen at the top right where it shows 'mode 1'. When I did, that became 'mode 2', then 'mode 3', and then cycled back. At some point while flipping modes the device appeared and the Carplay display showed up. There's no info on these modes that I can find. I have asked the seller about it.
I have firmware 2019.10.15.1248CHP, and am connecting with an iPhone 11 Pro running the latest 13.1 build. Not sure the minor version because the phone is updating to 13.2 as we speak.
I would proceed with caution. If it doesn't work out as it hasn't for me despite updates, you are responsible to shipping the item back to China. This cost me $50 via USPS. I would avoid this product for now.

Contact Amazon for a shipping refund immediately then. I told them I am not shipping it back to China, and they simply refunded me the product cost and I did not have to return the item at all.

I should have thought of that. I will contact them about the shipping I paid though. Thanks for the tip.
This product is not ready for prime time and the vendor is experimenting with software versions. I would stay away.
Unfortunately, I am joining the refund club. After waiting six weeks, I finally got it, and it did not get picked up by my iphone. I tried turning bluetooth off, then on, then off again. Nothing. Then, just to doublecheck I brought my iPad in the car, see if the iPad would pick up the dongle. Same result.
I went through Amazon. The next morning I got an email from seller offering updated firmware.I replied that he shouls send it. We’ll see what happens. I am skeptical
After applying a couple of updates and fiddling with this thing for the last few weeks, I'm giving up. It'll go a day or two where I think it's working and then one of its many bugs will pop up. I hope someone comes up with a wireless solution that actually works because it's really nice not having to plug in.
Had my carlinkit a couple of weeks now - won't work at all. Applied for a return and got a label to send to China, with me paying postage! F- that. Requested a refund and was processed yesterday. Dongle went in the trash.

I have an iPhone 11Pro running iOS 13.1.3 and it’s working great.
I have an iPhone XS running IOS 13.2 and haven’t had an issue. There is a small delay on startup, Siri, and iTunes, but otherwise no issues. I put a charge pad in the glove box and on my trip to DC last week it kept a charge. Maps worked fine, too.
