Default Window Tint

Am planning on tinting my windows on Friday and looking for recommendation/reassurance on level. Am in the San Francisco Bay area and am planning on 35 for the sides and 20 for the back. It's on a 2018 Targa GTS.

I believe that is exactly what I have. Don't judge the wing up, it was at the detailers

Bought CPO car with near blackout tinting which I want to have replaced with less dark tint. Do I need to worry that removing the tint from rear window will damage the defrost wires/strips ?

I'm thinking 20 all around, including sunroof. Has anyone done that?

20% all around, I think it’s perfect not too light, not too dark.

35 front sides and 20 rear / rear quarter windows is pretty typical here in FL.

That's what I have.

Thanks for the pic, car looks great with 20% all around - DO you have sunroof? What is the interior color?

Here is my 40% when I first got the car. For me it’s perfect. I usually never tint my cars, but really like how this turned out. I don’t like the different shades, Looks weird.

25% in Texas. Same ceramic tint all the way around on all my cars. I dont like the windows to be different so I just use the max allowable on fronts everywhere.

Thanks, the interior is GTS Alcantara in black. No sunroof at all...just the way I like it! Legally my fronts should be 30% or greater but I found that just too light in previous cars. Also, I prefer the tint to be one shade all around.

35/20 is pretty standard. Remember that if it's a ceramic tint it will be lighter than the "old school" metallic/dyed variant.
