Yep.

You can get a high mileage brown on tan with no options all day long. You want a desirable color combo with all the right options etc, you better be ready to move immediately. It's like shopping for a house in the right neighborhood, location, features. However at resale time, having the "right" car to sell will make it easier to step into the next "right" car

I'm about to put my 991.2 Carrera up for sale (getting a 997 GT3 or manual Carrera T). Probably list here first. This is my build:

2017 911 Carrera
$114,950.00
Exterior:GT Silver Metallic
Interior:Standard Interior in Black

176 Sport Exhaust System
250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
457 Lane Change Assist (LCA)
460 20" RS Spyder Design Wheels
489 Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel
581 Luggage net in passenger footwell
583 Smoking package
653 Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof in Glass
9VL BOSE® Surround Sound System
AG Standard Interior in Black
P06 Power Sport Seats (14-way) with Memory Package
P3E Premium Package Plus i.c.w. Power Sport Seats (14-way) *Please note Premium Package Plus includes LED headlights, entry and drive, and ventilated seats!*
QR5 Sport Chrono Package
U2 GT Silver Metallic
XSC Porsche Crest on headrests

Car has just under 23K miles. Full front PPF (including mirrors) and Xpel Prime XR tint all the way around.

Thoughts on fair pricing?

I've scoured Cars.com and there isn't anything out there right now with this superb combination of options. At least not unless you want to spend huge money.

I have paperwork showing 2 year service performed in January. Engine oil and filter, pre-cabin and cabin air filters, and brake bleed.

Under warranty through March or April 2021, if I remember correctly.

Probably 70-80k if doing a trade or private sale respectively according to KBB.

For sure...I do not see how one can generalize a car that has so many variables.

And as I have said in other threads, when the 992 came out my dealer was swamped with requests for 991s after people saw the 992. That is not to say that many so not ike the 992 but it shows that many like the 991 better so prices will not drop that fast.

FWIW I paid 84 at Porsche South Shore in June for my '17 Carrera with 19K miles in GT Silver, Black interior, Memory, Bose, Heated Wheel, Porsche Crests, LCA, Sport chrono, Electric Roof in Glass, Carrera Sport Wheels, and ventilated and heated seats; but no Sports Exhaust and 7MT. My car was/is CPO by Porsche.

I would think private sale you would be in the same territory, say 83-85, given condition and mileage, plus the wheels, plus PDK being more popular (?). At a dealer, maybe somewhat higher?

This is just a guess, I am for sure no auto broker.
