Default 991.2 Tune Changes - Giac to Cobb

Has anyone tried to use the Cobb after having a Giac tune installed? If the ECM is already unlocked then I am guessing it might be as easy as a reflash and not having to remove the ECM.

I think you are better off reaching out to Cobb support directly, I'm sure at that point, you might even ask for a discount, if in fact you don't have to send in your ECU.

Not likley you can flash COBB on top of GIAC. In the past with GIAC cars I have worked with, the GIAC programming must be removed in it's entirely in order to accept a new flash.

I could be wrong though, it would be best to confirm with COBB prior to purchase.

I believe the flash can be removed by any giac dealer for 1 hr labor (if youre lucky). Question is, once its removed and “stock” is it now unlocked and ready to rock and roll (ie flash via obd2)
I wouldnt run an OTS map either. Would flash directly at the protuner. Main reason for change would be access port logging capacity
