Default Moving to the Beach!

Dear local buds - I haven't posted here in some time, but wanted to let you know it's because we have been very busy. We decided to move from Reston to the Rehoboth beach area in Delaware. Hopefully we can make some new Porsche friends there. Good luck all.

We'll miss you in the Potomac Region, Dan! You can always come back and visit LOL. Porschefest next month is going to be crazy!

Good luck with the move!

Yeah, I wanted to do Porschefest this year but we are selling two houses and consolidating into one. Plus not much of the furniture will work in the new place so we need to buy a lot of stuff. The fun all starts in 9 days. Anyway, hope to see you again!

Enjoy it! Be prepared to pay a 4.25% registration fee on your car. It doesn't matter if you paid taxes on it already.

Good luck! We've been pondering a drive over there one of these weekends. We usually stay at a B&B in Lewes.

Yes sir. Evidently the guy across the street has a Porsche that Jimmy Dean ordered, but unfortunately, was not able to pick it up.

Thanks, I'll take a look. My car is leased so I wonder how that works. I only have a few months left on my lease - maybe I'll just turn it in early.

Thanks. I'll still be back in the area for work and I might be able to hook up with the group again. I always wanted to plan a road rally to Ricketts Glen with the group. It's one of the mot beautiful spots on the planet.

That's nearby for sure. We spend our time at the state park there. No boardwalk - just dunes, wildlife, and waves. (I count the people as wildlife, too.)

I lived north of Philly for a long time in Horsham near my work and have many ties there. I love Philly - a big city that has small town atmosphere.

We looked at Florida and Naples, too. We also looked at the Charleston area but decided on Rehoboth to stay close to family and friends.
