My 2019 EPIC Completely Bonkers Carrera T Bonding Tour...
What better way to bond with a new Porsche than a completely bonkers, drive-like-you-stole-it, flat out BEAST mode, 3000 Kms rip through the coastal mountains and back. My conclusion at the end of it? We have some of the BEST roads in the world here and... the T is a BEAST! I'll never be the same. How do I live a normal life and drive now like a responsible citizen? I'm seriously concerned.
3000 Kms (1875 Miles) rip through the coastal mountains of British Columbia, Montana, Idaho, and Washington...
Day 1: After leaving Vancouver, BC (I), and a spirited rip up the Duffy Lake Road, down Hwy 12 and across Hwy 8, we finally rest in a line of colour in Merritt, BC (C)...
Day 2: After an EPIC run across and down Hwy 6 and crossing Upper Arrow Lake (headwaters of the Columbia River system), BC on the Needles Ferry...
Day 3: Morning line-up in Nelson,BC...
Day 3: An unexpected yet welcomed Waze goof to Salmo, BC (D) for a GREAT triple-macchiato before heading north to Kootenay Lake, BC...
Day 3: After an amazing rip north of Cranbrook to Kimberley, BC (E), Fort Steele, and back down, the T cools in the evening light with the Steeples Mountain Range in the background...
Day 5: A truly unexpected gem of a road joining Oliver, BC and Hwy 3A. If I could drive that road everyday...
Day 5: After dodging deer and major rocks on the road, a brief moment of respite in Coalmont, BC (H)...
Day 5: The final leg, heading north out of Nelson, BC on Creekwater road... "Say hello to my leetle friend"...

Mostly in Best Westerns, and a final Coast Hotel in Oliver, BC. All reasonable, bfast in the am for those that want it, and great secure parking.
Ask and yee shall receive. That's the CT leading the pack... Check out the road ahead at the 1.00 mark. EPIC.
EPIC...

Guess those light-weight windows came in handy after all...
Looks like an awesome trip Joel!
A shame I wasn't able to join you guys.
Have you considered organizing a trip like that down HYW1 along the coast Oregon to CA... I'm pretty sure that would be a close contender for the "epic road trip" crown.

Great to meet you! What an EPIC trip. Cool shot of Mt. St. Helens. Sorry to have missed that!
Yes - there's lots of roads up in them-there-hills! Incredible. I would run Sherman Pass, east to west, any day of the week. Astounding!
You bet! We're planning another trip next year for the week before the Canadian July 1 long weekend. We'll return to Vancouver just as the crowds are heading the other direction.
Yes - planning on such a trip in the first part of December. I need to be down in San Diego for a conference Dec 12-15, 2019. I'm going to be shouting-out for road suggestions once I hit the Washington-Oregon border.

Actually, the shot of the lava field is atop McKenzie Pass, Hwy 242, in Oregon.
Another Epic road to add to your list.
