No.

Last night somebody in a Model X did not like that my car was around his. Slowed down immediately when I just got ahead of him and stayed far back. Further down the road he caught up as I caught a brief red light.. When I made my turn I noticed his wing was up this time. The awareness within other drivers is real.

Thats a very cool story. Bro.

Neither. Microphone. I was lip syncing to Little Big Town. Food in my car is "fighting words".

The highest position is probably not good for efficiency since its creating so much drag, so it doesn't make sense (as far as function) for it to be in that position at any other time. It would be kind of cool for track days, but I am assuming if it really assisted with traction at low speeds, the Sport (+) setting should include a fully extended spoiler position.

Since you cannot control its deployment in any capacity, I'm not sure why this is of such interest to everyone. Driving around I've seen them in multiple positions. I don't even know if there's only 3 position, there could be more. Its been very hot here and my spoiler has been deploying at 20mph regularly to help with cooling.

My only testing suggestion would be to perhaps run the car in Sport + and see if the spoiler extends further on hwy speeds.

I’m not sure that you can really pull the whole “son” thing off. But I admire you for trying, and this is the Internet. Go girl !

Fyi The .2 has the air intakes under the wing. Lots of plumbing and not ideal design. Also helps with cooling. When im pounding on it or on track its always up. Im not trying to get busy with anyone there so Im ok with it.

Can't put mine down on either of my 991s... I think I put it up manually once on my P4E-H Sport Turismo. It felt special.

I let mine go up or down automatically. It likes to raise up at 50 mph and tends to stay up a lot more than the ones on my previous 991.1s.

Is there any indication on the dashboard when the spoiler automatically goes up at speed (on a 991.1)?

No can do, amigo. Only indication you'll get is if it FAILS to deploy at speed.

You have to look at the rear view mirror to see it pop up. I can see the 991.2 spoiler in the up position pretty easily. On the 991.1, I couldn't really see it when it was raised.
