Yes, did that once and was surprised how meaty it sounded as you have to have the sunroof and/or windows open to get the full effect in the car.

It’d be interesting to hear the systems under load, like WOT with an up-change 2nd-3rd. Even though I have a GTS and think it sounds brilliant, I heard a Kline-modded 911 driving past in anger and it was *really* mean, almost a ripping/tearing noise like a race exhaust.
sorry quoted the wrong post earlier

Under load the kline rips. See attached video clip

Following the T with the Kline, it’s noticeably louder than a stock PSE and has loud pops. Parked revving to 6-7K these turbo sixes sound similar, under load is where you hear the difference. All sound good.

I am amazed by how good the 991.2 PSE sounds. Especially from the outside. Last weekend I complimented a friend of mine who drives a 991.2 Carrera S. I almost started to think that it might even sound better then my GTS. But I only experience my GTS from the inside drivers seat. I really have to get someone to give it the beans while I am standing outside. ;-)

Cat delete is louder than high flow cats or muffler mods. Fo sho.
On dyno day I felt like I was getting cancer just sitting behind steve’s car.
That said, catless sounded the best, hands down

“felt like I was getting cancer” That made me laugh :-)
It does have a smell, no doubt.

I’ve considered adding the sharkwerks bypass with the Cat Delete. In theory it would be louder, but some have told me with PSE on, the stock muffler is pretty much straight through

Xpipe is louder than the pse muffler, and overrun sounds like coconuts on the stock pse to me for some reason. Stout doesnt like it either but as far as i know he’s the only other person that commented on the pse not sounding right. That said, i think if you delete the cats+ muffler completely youre at risk of it becoming drone city. But I bet u can ask 10 people and get different answers on that one.

Everyone said the same on my 997 GTS “you can’t delete the side cans and the center muffler - that will be way too loud” - not too loud at all and lots of compliments on the sound!

I’ve got a few mods prior to the sharwerks center can, springs, spacers, pepita inserts, but I’ll post video of sharwerks with cat delete when I get it done.
Have a feeling it will sound killer!
