Lock button on keyless entry

My keyless entry lock button on drivers door doesn’t work now. It works fine on passenger door though. I push it and nothing happens. I’ve tried both keys, and changed the key battery but still doesn’t work.
Anyone find a solution? Does the handle have to be replaced? What was the cost to replace/fix?
thanks for any help!

This guy had the same problem. Turned out to be his battery.

I've had that, wires in the handle had broken (poor design). Bought a replacement handle but it was just easier to repair the wires as the new handle needs to be painted.

Btw if you want a new handle mines sitting on the shelf.

Thanks guys for the reply! My battery seems fine. Also forgot to say I have a ‘13 C2S. Anyone replace the internal pieces and use the original handle? How much VII7?
Appreciate the help!

It's free if you fix the wiring, the dealer will ask for $500.
If you want my handle I'll ship it to you for $40.

A 6 year old battery is suspect.

Replaced the battery 3 years ago and all the numbers look good.
Thanks VII7! PM sent

Happened to my '13 C2S, they replaced the handle under CPO warranty.

Before taking handle off, I’d, just for kicks, put in a new battery. I know you said it was replaced 3 yrs ago, couldn't hurt.

Well, I replaced the battery and still no workee. So thanks to VII7 he’s sending me his new handle and off to the dealer I go next week. Maybe it’ll be the wire came loose as said and won’t have to replace handle. I guess there are sensors in the handle that senses the key as well. Will report back.
Thanks!
Rob
