Anyone else give up on...
trying to keep their car rock chip free?
Every time I pick up some rock chips after spirited mountain driving I feel like I should go home and touch it up, it's kind of stressful, I think I've decided I don't care anymore and just let it be. I do have full front PPF but in retrospect should of did the rocker + rear fenders I think, those seem to be pretty high impact areas. Maybe I will try that magnetic stone guard on the fenders.

Yes, I love my car, but it's not a Faberge Egg. I will , hopefully, enjoy it for many years to come, scars and all, it adds character.

Full PPF/ceramic pro and only driven in nice, dry weather. I have 2 other beaters for less than optimal conditions.
I respect those that drive their cars year round, I don't have the heart for it...

I’m OCD about keeping things neat and new. I did do a full PPF and high impact areas for that reason.

My car has lots of chips. It’s part of car ownership in Colorado. I don’t worry about it.

It's a serial production car, there will be others so enjoy this one while you have it.
I don't know how people buy a good car to park while they spend their time in a "beater", life's too short...

I use a beater for bad (in CA, wet) weather, and also to provide some needed contrast to the flagship car. If you drive the same special car all the time, then it no longer feels special.

I am with you! In addition to the front, etc. I had the lowers PPF'd since rock chips would stand out with Miami Blue. Yeah, they are just cars and meant to be driven but I want mine to look new, or close to it, as much as possible. I am retired so I do not daily drive it but I do drive it about 4-500 miles a month and so far no chips. Maybe you can try Dr. Colorchip and then have the PPF put on?

Admitting I have a problem is the first step to rectifying it LOL
On a separate note, if you ever find yourself in or near CT, let me know as I'd love to hear the magic of the SOUL headers. Contemplating an upgrade and can use some in-person symphony prior to dropping the dough and retesting the strength of my marriage.

I've already touched up 6-7 different rock chips this year, and that's with PPF on the front end. I hate it, but I try to remind myself that it's just a car and given how much money it costs, might as well enjoy it as much as is reasonable!
