We believe in having a choice. Don't forget that for your "bit more coin" for a Zunsport grille you get a grille manufactured from 316L stainless steel which is either polished to give the shiny chrome finish, or coated in polymer for the black finish. If the polymer gets split due to being struck by road detritus then it shrinks back to provide an unbroken surface. On top of all of this you also get the Zunsport service, either on-line or by telephone. It's still your choice.

I installed these a few weeks back. Crazy easy install, and beautiful oe looking pieces. After reading this, I feel like I didn't pull my zip ties tight enough. I was worried about damaging the bumper off I pulled them too tight, but you can see a small portion of the tie, because I didn't pull hard enough to pull the grill all the way up against the bumper pieces. Still look awesome tho

I just finished installing the grilles on my 991.1 S. I had some difficulty removing the first lateral trim piece, but after the first one it went fairly quickly.

I could not re-clip the middle tab on the lateral trim pieces (top or bottom) after the zip ties were installed. I tied the zip ties on the first grill fairly tight and on the second grill I left them looser to ensure the center tabs were re-clip; neither method worked for me.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

The grilles feel much more sturdy when they are installed than when you just hold them in your hands. The four zip ties hold the grilles in place well.

Did you happen to rotate the receiver end of the cable tie out of the way so the trim pieces could be reinstalled? Do you have a photo of the install?

Response to the post from RGS on 8/18.

I rotated and placed the receiver end of the zip tie against the grill. I have attached a picture of the installation and a close up of the tab on the upper trim piece. The tab on the lower trim piece looks similar.

This is likely my error, but I would like to clip the trim pieces in completely,

Grill installation

Close up of center tab - tab not inserted

Super happy w mine. Do you make one for the center hole for a standard 991.1S bumper to cover a third radiator or to just replace the center plastic piece with?

I have 991S - I've read through quite a few responses on this thread and I'm afraid what I bought will not work - please advise.
