how is lumbar adjustable 4 ways?...
quick question on the adjustable lumbar on the 18 way sport plus seats
manual says it is adjustable 4 ways?
sat in a couple of 991's today and messed with the adjustment a bit but want to be a little more familiar with it for next time i go back so i can make a better decision
so obviously the air bladder inflates in/out but what other adjustment does it have? is there more than one bladder? if there is more than one can you adjust which bladder is inflated?does this affect which part of the lumber (upper or lower) is inflated?
thanks

My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that the lumbar moves in and out like the 14-way, and also up and down in height. This up/down and the adjustable side bolsters are the extra moves which make the 18-way seats 18.

Yes, adjustment allows for in and out as well as up and down.

4 way on our 991.2 is tilt and raise. Odd how they call this 4-way. Front-to-back is manual lever release. I got the 4-ways based on some info I got on the weight differences once you go to the 14-way. Our car is a 4S that is basically stripped except for performance enhancing options. Hindsight can sometimes be fickle. Having since spent some seat time in 14-way seats, I regret getting the 4-way. Not that the 4-way sports are bad, but with the 14-way you can REALLY dial in support and comfort. I even had settings for cruise and aggressive (track) driving styles.
