Default Would there be interest in a 911T Cabriolet?

On the tails of the introduction of the 991 Speedster, which is essentially a 911R Cabriolet (give or take a few bits/pieces like the ITB), would there be interest in a 911T Cabriolet?

A sort of "poor man's" 991 Speedster.

Maybe, if it came with a manual.

A 991 T Cabrio for sure would give you some more options (Manual, RAS, Sport PASM, Sport Bucket, etc....), but it would definitely go against the concept of less weight in the T since you have all the additional folding mechanism.

I do drive a 991.2 Cabrio and before I drove a 991.2 Coupe. The whole reason for going to a Cabrio was to be able to enjoy my everyday driving and take advantage of the nice weather. I wasn't looking for additional performance so in this case, I wouldn't pay additional money for something that is not a priority for me. For me driving a Cabrio is not about a more spirited driving.... on the contrary. Is about taking more time to enjoy your driving experience and enjoy nature around you. The cabrio as it is, is a great car.

No. But thanks for asking.

What would be of more interest, in my opinion, would be a ‘poor man’s’ GT3 - a more basic, no frills T, but with the naturally aspirated engine from the GT3 (3.8 or 4.0) and the six speed manual transmission...

I love that idea, but am afriad it would become a 'poor man's GT3' that only a rich man could afford!

The concept of less weight in the T is laughable!
