New 2019 911 Convert v. Used 2017/2018 911 Convert
Looking to purchase or lease a new 911 convertible ( base model) or purchase a used 2017/2018 911 convertible ( base or s). I cannot decide which avenue to go. I have driven a 2019 and was extremely happy with it. Are there any significant differences between the 2019 base model and the 2017/2018 base models. How much off the MSRP should I be expecting on a base 2019. I spoke to one dealer and they were willing to give me $6,000 off without much discussion. Thanks for any advice.

Pretty much the same cars as they are all 991.2 cars. If you find one in the color you like with most or all of the options you want make your best deal and buy it. I would shoot for $10k off a new one but if it is the car you like don't let it get away for a little bit of money. And if you have not driven the base and S only you can decide if the extra power is enough. Reading this thread may help you decide if you cannot drive them both: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1086...is-enough.html

2019s do not have headlight washers, if that little thing matters.
