headlight washer caps (which color)
So I wanted to get some thoughts from one this, I have a 2017 991.2. It came with chrome caps, was thinking black would look better as there is really no chrome on the car other than silver PSE tips. I was thinking the matte black OEM caps would look good. All the GT3s and other 911s with black washer tips tend to have the blacked out PDLS headlights or at least the inside is more black, mine are chrome/silver inside the headlight and the trim is silver. I know it's a personal choice but wanted to get some feedback.
thanks!
thanks!

Thank you, yeah I am thinking color matched might be the way to go, I just don’t think the black looks good unless you have black headlights.

Miami Blue, but you could have probably guessed I would say that. I may be sending some items to Eric at Bumperplugs soon so if you want a place that will do an outstanding job he is the man, and if you do mention me.

Yep, I am going with Miami Blue. Still can’t believe it’s gonna cost $225 for painted plastic caps, lol. But, I am about to pay $850 for black PSE tips so that make sense, right... lol.

Don't buy new PSE tips! Send yours to to Jet-Hot and they will ceramic coat them in Satin Black for $120! Or buy the OEM Black ones from Cyberbug, who is going to sell his. And is that what Eric wants to paint the washer covers?

Cool, I told Cyberbug you might be looking for some.
I am considering a few more parts for Eric to paint Miami Blue for me but a few are very tiny so I have to see if he can do those. I am waiting on a spray can of Miami Blue to try those myself and I know I will not get anywhere close to the quality of work he does but they are so small I do not think it will matter much.

Let me know where you get the Miami Blue paint from and how it works out. For $200.00, I might try DYI first.
thanks!

Glad to help. I am getting it from Automotive Touchup (https://www.automotivetouchup.com/) and with a can of clear and shipping it came to $40, and I will let you how it turns out.
Here are some little parts that I will have to try on my own since Eric said the paint gun he uses will make them vanish since they are so small/light:
