Default Converting 991.2 to gt3 kit.

I've been looking around for a gt3 991.2 front back bumper set. The original Carrera s kit is looking boring Haha. What do u guys think? Shud I do it ? If yes, is aftermarket from china/Taiwan a big risk? Cos I dun think the original gt3 rear bumper fits the c2s. Anyone with experience doing this pls feel free to share. Thx in advance

I would say yes. Have a look at the gentleman who's car caught on fire with an aftermarket bumper.

Be sure to invest in a very good high capacity fire extinguisher, in fact you might consider buying two.

You could play it safe with the Porsche Sports Design Bumper. Unfortunately the rear is just a spoiler with a bigger lip. I'm sure you're already aware of these and not nearly as sexy as a GT3, but loads better than stock IMO.

really got my head stucked with the gt3 looks .... too bad the car itself is too expensive in where i live. 315k usd for a 2017 gt3 base used car with no porsche warranty.

Not a valid point IMO. He just wants to do cosmetic changes and like the GT front bumper but would not like driving one all the time.

Can you provide some details and pics? I was actually staring at a GT3 front bumper the other day and mentally superimposing it on my GTS - didn't realize anyone had already done it!

GT3 is "wide body" where your C2S is "narrow body"

Rear bumper might fit, might look a little bulgy. But also the 991.2 C2S (and all Carrera 991.2) uses rear intercooler outlets on the rear bumper, where the GT3 doesn't. So you would need to figure out some modifications.

You can also consider the Mimo Technik center exit kit. (replaces center muffler)
