Will my cello fit?
That was my biggest reservation about buying a GTS as my daily driver. In case there are any other cellists on the fence, the answer is YES!
This is a BAM Hitech 2.9 slim case with 4-way seats. I did not even need to recline the seat, just slid all the way back and popped it right in. It would have looked great on the roof, I’m sure, but I feel much safer with it riding next to me.

If I may make a suggestion, you should put a soft cloth between the case and the glove box to prevent chafing of either.

I don't think many people would survive if they saw a cello on top of the 911 - many folks would melt into a puddle simply because they can't handle the sheer uniqueness / awesomeness of such a sight

This could be a great challenge theme... "Will my _____ fit in my Pork?"

Why not put it on the back of the car and use it as a detachable wing for the days you need EXTRA down-force, ala a GT3? Let the people know that this harmonic device not only produces a beautiful sound when played properly, but it helps keep the rear of the car planted.

Well, I just discovered that my bicycle will not fit in my 911, and my seasucker won't stick long enough to the roof for me to feel comfortable using it. My failure in advance planning meant that I couldn't go bike racing tonight because my wife has my sensible car. Talk about 1st world problems...

Porsche 911s make up 0.05% of all cars on the road. Cello players make up 0.001% of all people (wild guess). That makes a person driving a cello around in a 911 beyond rare (like one in 100,000,000). Cool!

The odds are still within any lottery and a great factoid to tell at your next concert.

On time at band camp, I plucked a cello player in the back seat of a 911. That was a wonderful summer.
