Where do u mount dragy??
Behind steering wheel? On radar detector? Anyone hardwired it?

Dragy works best with a clear satellite shot. Best place is on the dash. No need for hardwire. Just charge it and set it up.

If it sticks to a magnetic phone mount this should work... one of the front vent slats is perfect to vertically place a vent mount. Can also adhere a metal disc to that with some 3m. Super discrete. Gonna find out in a couple days

Created my own suction cup mount for my Dragy device.
I originally ordered the dragy suction cup mount from twisted tuning but they were out of stock because of the COVID situation. After waiting for over 1.5 weeks, they didn’t ship it, so I cancelled my order. I’m kind of glad because it cost $57 after taxes and shipping which is totally a ripoff. You can use the two metal plates they give you. Take off the cover for the adhesive for both plates and stick them to each other. Then place 2 suction cups onto the plate by using glue. I used Loctite super glue and it worked great. Dragy is magnetic. No need to hardwire as the charge lasts a few days.
It comes with a small metal plate that has double sided tape. I placed mine on the dash where the center channel speaker grill is. It does not need a clear site path and will work in other locations. I like having on the dash as I calf the can easily grad it when I am getting out the car. I NEVER leave anything in my car in plain sight, to include a phone charging cable If you ever want to have some fun, bring it on the airplane with you and grab the numbers during takeoff. |
