Is the front bumper cover air-intake mesh Porsche parts or sold separately by FVD or others?

That exhaust was specially developed by Capristo Automotive GmbH to the north of us in Sundern, Germany. Our testing is now completed and we will have pricing and videos available in the next few weeks. I will be posting as soon as we are ready to release.

Thanks for your interest. We are awaiting our stocking order, we are hoping to have everything in the next week or so. Once we enter all of the dimensions I will send you a pm with the shipping costs. The prices listed on our site include all importation costs to our warehouse in Florida. We cannot offer a discount on these parts currently.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we have received our first shipment of 991.2 duck tails, side skirts and front lips from Moshammer. They are going quickly so if anyone is ready to order please contact me or order directly on our online shop.

Thanks,
Rhonda

Rhonda, the ducktail on the development vehicle appears to have a visible “clamshell” seam, is that left over from the molding process? I may be wrong but it looks like the top and bottom are two separate parts bonded together?

Do all the ducktails have this seam? If so is it removable during the paint prep process? What is the ducktail material?

I like the ducktail design but I find the rectangular protrusion for the Moshammer badge unsightly. It detracts from the design and 911 owners who do mod their cars typically take the more subtle approach and avoid unnecessary badging. Is the protrusion part of the original cast part or can it be removed?

Thanks

I would really like to hear from anyone that has purchased the ducktail and get some first hand feed back on the fit and finish of this product. Thanks

First of all, let me apologize for the delay in getting back to all of you.

There is a visible seam that you can see under the wrap. That is easily removed during the paint prep process as is the little protrusion for the Moshammer Badge. FVD Germany received the Moshammer parts about 2 days before a large 35th Anniversary event so there was not much time for prep before the wrapping.

The wheels are BBS CH-R Centerlock wheels that we painted the lip guard in the same mint green to match the wrap.

Due to the hurry to prepare the car for our 35th Anniversary event that was not adjusted accurately on the passengers side. You can see how it was adjusted to fit flush on the drivers side, however. There is plenty of adjustment to allow it to meet flush with the fender line. In our experience the Moshammer parts are very symmetrical and the fitment is some of the best that we have found in over 35 years in the Porsche Tuning business.

Do you know if Moshammer planning to make a full kit for 991.1 C2S?
