Default Pic of the new wheels

I just received the completed wheel image of the BC Forged KL01 wheels I ordered for the 911. I am very happy with the look and color. I had the centers milled out to fit the OEM center caps. I should have them by next week, as well as the KW HAS kit. So for
now, this is the only pic.

Love the look and the matte finish - are you planning on applying some sort of ceramic coating before putting them on?

Thank you. It’s a satin, so there is a slight sheen to it. I usually put a good coat of wax to help with the brake dust, but might try some ceramic coating this time around. Hopefully it’ll be easy to clean once it’s applied.

Me too. Looking forward to getting them on and to see what type of weight savings I’ll get. Based on the info I was given, the fronts should be about 20-21lb and the rears are 21lb. That’s a good amount of unsprung weight savings.

I see you’re from Rockwall. I grew up in Plano, and graduated HS from Plano Senior High. My brother lives out by Addison. I’m considering cashing in and moving back down to TX. I was considering Frisco or Rockwall. How do you like it there?

BC Forged is a good choice. I have had 2 sets from them so far. I will probably order another from them.

Nice. Good to hear. My brother had a set years ago and they seemed pretty good. Can’t go wrong with a fully forged lightweight wheel.

My Satin wheels are ceramic coated and they are easier to clean but with steel brakes the dust will still show, but they are a little easier to clean than wax and the ceramic will last longer.

Nice wheels. Looking forward to seeing them on the car. What wheel specs did you go with, offsets and all?

Just received the wheels. They look better in person. And they are light! The rears are 20x11 and weighed in at exactly 21lbs. The fronts weighed in at 20.5lb. That is some Great weight savings.
