Just to be clear the recommended service interval is time or miles whichever comes FIRST. Not trying to get into a debate on if you need to change the oil based on time alone but that is the recommendation.

If you get one of these you can turn off the service lights yourself.

$450 for an oil change is insane. But I do know that dealers out in CA are much higher than the mid west and east coast. My dealer is around $200 for an oil change which I still think is very high considering the low parts cost, but $140 an hour labor rate.
