Add Clock to Non Sport Chrono 991?
I'm considering a used 2015 991 that is not Sport Chrono equipped. Originally dismissed it, but is has a number of other nice to have options including a color I like and leather interior. I like to have an easily visible clock - preferably analog. My wife has a nice one in her '18 Macan where the Sport Chrono Clock is mounted, mid-dash, is cars so euipped.
Anyone consider or look into adding an analog clock in the middle of the dash?

No, Keep looking you will find one with the "clock" on the dash. It may take some time, but sometimes the search is the best part. My last two Pcars it was a deal breaker not to have the Sport Chrono. I passed on a lot of nice cars with great prices until I fount one that had most of everything I wanted. I ended getting one without a sunroof and SD steering wheel. But it has Sport Chrono, full leather, Burmiester, Sports Exhaust, PDCC and SPASM. Took a long time, but on a side note I got to drive a whole lot of Pcars,

What year /model did you get? I am looking at a 2015 4S. I would prefer the Sport Chrono, but this will be my daily driver (also have an '87 Carrera Targa, 5sp, am keeping it). Not going to Autocross or race the new car, so not so sure how critical the Sport Chrono is. Interesting you found one w/o a sunroof - which I consider useless; Have had one in my BMWl for 17 years and only opened it to give the dog a bit more air. I bought a '15 Panamera GTS w/ Sport Chrono a month ago and wished I'd gotten a 911. I like being able to adjust the suspension separately, but don't know when I'd use the Chrono Clock features unless I start doing rallyes, and the Sport + mode seems over the top for street use, particularly on the rough surfaced back roads we have here in the countryside. Of course, you don't have to select it ... Plan to sell or trade the Panamera. But am getting used to niceties like Sat radio, backup camera, LCA, etc. - which are not always on the used 911s, I now have 18-way seats and don't like them - cramp my upper back (I ordered the 14 way on the Macan and was super comfortable over 10 hr driving days on a 3500 mile road trip last Fall). Leather is a must have (also a bit hard to find - I think the 'Standard' interior looks cheap -- on a $100K car!).
