I have a 2019 4GTS and when I'm spraying water on the hood and I have the key in my pocket the trunk pops up. When I take the key away and put it in the house it doesn't happen. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so why? I don't get it. Under any other circumstance the hood does not pop open when my key is in my pocket! Help

If you have the key with you and move the hand near the emblem, the "Frunk" will open. It has a sensor there so you do not have to use the key button.

Welcome to Porsche Entry and Drive ownership.
I just leave it in the car now when I wash.

I try to remember to leave the key on my trash can in the garage.

I leave the key in the car. My other car would beep/lock and beep-beep/unlock every time the stream hit the door handle, so I learned to just leave the key inside the car when i washed it.

I’ve washed mine only once so far... was really surprised by the just-add-water Magic Frunk opening trick.
As long as it doesn’t do the same thing in a rainstorm, I’ll learn to live with it.

that was one of the things I found so annoying about Porsche Entry & Drive. Glad to no longer have it, not on my Carerra T or GT3. No cost to skip it but would pay to skip if I had to.

It's a minor annoyance to an otherwise great option. Especially for those of us that are well rounded.
