Default Winter is officially over

I have had about enough of winter. Hired a guy with a bobcat to plow me a path through my cul-de-sac (the way my house is oriented, we get virtually zero sun on the front driveway and a good chunk of the road). After that, and a few hours of ice chipping on my part, the car has been liberated from winter slumber.

Yes, the wing is up in the photo. I had the car ripped apart all winter and the wing wouldn't retract when I re-installed it. It did go down once I drove her

It was...uh...just excited to be let out of its cage. No shame, it happens to all of us. Congrats!

...... “ hired a bobcat and chipped ice for a few hours “ - that’s determination !!!

Not that it matters but your neighbors must have thought you were nuts.

FWIW, when our streets were iced over after an ice storm, I started chipping the ice, then got out my leaf blower to move the stuff I chipped. I discovered that as the leaf blower got underneath the sheet ice, it just lifted it up. Cleared the whole street very quickly.

My neighbours probably think I'm an idiot and I'm fine with that!

Ahh remember those days well. Walking by the car every morning and thinking when can I get it out. Moved
to Florida and solved that. Good luck. Hope for an early spring for ya.

I still have winter tires on. I will wait until it’s always above 40 during driving hours. I did just remove the ski rack though. Time for a bike rack! 😃

Pardon my hijack... but does your 2 year old daughter goes to sleep when she rides with you? My 2 year old son goes to sleep every time I take him for a ride. In fact my wife asks me to take him for a ride if she is having difficulty put him to sleep in the house.

I'm with you on the winter tires. I'll have mine on until early to mid May.

She does! But, she's only ever really napped well in a vehicle. I think that's the main reason that my wife has 90,000 km on her 2.5 year old vehicle

Nice! In a different situation, I'd winter drive a C4 or C4S
