Once a week in circles. I have this backroads/freeway near me which I drive in circles on an early weekend with hardly any cars. Heck, almost like driving on the track.

Gotta have a reason other than environmentally unfriendly cruising for it's own sake. That's why I often make deliveries for a friend of mine's business. The deal is he just pays for the gas, which is expensive here in rip-off Britain. Customers get quite a shock when I rock up in a new 911S Cab to deliver a picture they left for framing. Some feel privileged by the customer service. Others must wonder if they paid too much.

Do I take random drives? Of course, this is why I bought my 991.2! That and PCA events.

Really surprised, and pleased, the see the 80+% rate of often taking purely for fun drives with nowhere to go. I marked myself in the rarely category, and need to move to often! I have to say I did this more often years ago when I had an AP1 S2000. I'm really not a big convertible fan, partly due to the attention they draw, but I loved to take that car out on a warm summer night and just drive. I need to do more of that with the CT!

I also wanted to change my vote after selecting “rarely”.

When I voted, I’d had my car for less than a week. Now, I’ve quickly become much more at ease about taking it out to engage in meaningless road nonsense.

BGTS? Yes.
Miata? Yes.
911? Only when it is too cold for the tires of my BGTS and Miata.

Mines a 10 month daily driver and I still go out at least once a week just for a drive. So good.

Why have a car like this if you do not OFTEN do that? So lucky to be able to!

I spent the morning going nowhere today, just looking for some twisty mountain roads with ocean views.

One year of ownership. 3,500 miles.

33% miles to a winery (i.e. with purpose)
66% driving in circles (no purpose)

I've always found wineries to be much more fun when I wasn't driving.

Right. I should clarify. I don’t drink wine. But my wife loves it! And, loves being driven in the 911.
