Both are nice. I'd go option 1.

those are my favorite OEM wheels, but I want to go aftermarket to get lightweight forged wheels and more aggressive offsets.

The more I’ve been comparing and searching, I think I’ll go with option 1. Now my debate on what color, satin black, brushed black, brushed clear or even a brushed bronze.

I had the HRE P101s in brushed clear on my prior car and thought they looked fantastic (the car was agate in my case). They really look even better up close when you can see the fine detail in the metal and the fine detail of the spokes.. as shown in the close-up below. BTW, a top-notch installer will place any weights required behind a spoke like this one did. (Note the need for weights come from the tire and not the wheel being out of balance). The only thing with this nice of a wheel is that you will always feel compelled to keep the barrels really clean too... but with the nice gaps in this design that isn't too hard.
Twice I came back to the car and found someone taking a photo of them. Once as I walked up to the car a guy popped up from a kneeling position between the cars taking a close look. It turned out he was the driver of the modded Camaro next to me and we had a good cars talk.

I like both , am a fan of the HRE's in brushed clear.
The top looked white in the pic and I think they look great for a week and then the newness wears off.
I also do like the bronze color on white cars, as interesting as white and could live longer with them.
