Unhappy 991.2 Spoiler Stuck Up

My 991.2 4S just encountered this issue: I notice that my spoiler is up when I was parking, so I tried to lower it by pressing the spoiler button. I hear some noise from the spoiler and it lowered a little bit. The spoiler button keeps blinking slowly, but the spoiler does not go down anymore. When I press it again, it rises up and the light keeps on(which is normal).
Usually, when I switch from my "Individual mode" to normal, the spoiler lowers itself automatically, so I tried to do that, but the spoiler did not react at all.
I checked to see if there's any object stuck in the spoiler, but I could not observe any by my eyes.
Has anyone encountered this issue?

It’s normal. It only closes while moving, when you click once. When stopped you have to keep holding it. It’s to prevent fingers/body parts/small animals from getting caught.

Could be worse. Could be one of us Porsche owners that’s stuck up.

If your spoiler remains up after 4 hours, call your doctor?

Default When you're hot, you're hot!

When I owned the 997.2, I had read somewhere that if you shut your engine off and the engine is still very hot, the spoiler will stay up to enable cooling. When it reaches a cooler temperature, it will lower automatically. Anyone able to confirm or deny my recollection?

I went to hit my front axle lift and hit the spoiler and spent a good two minutes figuring out I had to hold down the button. And yes, on the 991.2 the spoiler will go up to air cooling.

You are right about it being a 997 thing, but not in the 991.
