I've been an avid follower (addict) of reading and using this forum as my bible for 991's. I had my first 991.1 carerra 4 cab (Black/Black) from 2015 until last week. I put 22,000 miles on the car and enjoyed every moment of it in the southern california basin.
I luckily am blessed to be able to upgrade to a 2016 991.1 GTS Cab (Carerra white metallic with red interior). I've never had a non-black car and this was definitely a change from the standard "all black everything" color combos I've always opted-in for. I can say I am thoroughly impressed with the red not being too bright and the C.W.M. paint having a slight grey hue to add a nice contrast to the car especially with the all black wheels. being delivered to me first upgrade (clear sidemarkers) top down!
The leather with ventilated seats; Bose Sound; PSE; PASM; and GTS powerkit are SUCH an upgrade it puts a smile on my face every time I turn that key and hear the engine rumble. I want to share my (new to me) GTS and hope to share more driving stories/etc as time goes on!
Welcome to the 2016 991.1 GTS PDK cab club! Gorgeous car! It is the perfect So Cal daily driver. It does everything so well - perfect for weekend getaway trips up the cost, for running errands, for taking to the mountains and canyons to open it up a bit. And the sounds, the smells, the overall experience is taken to a whole new level with the top down. Congrats and enjoy for many years to come!
