Default Help to choose a car cover

Hi Everyone, after my recent paint correction I'd like to now get a nice indoor cover for my car. Your thoughts on the best experiences you've had with a dust free one? Thanks Ralph

This is a decent interior car cover with a soft underlining that is custom fit. Please keep in mind most covers are made to breathe and require typical maintenance (washing & drying) due to air borne dust. I typically wash my cover once or twice a year dependent how dusty my garage gets.

So just how safe are these on soft Porsche paint? Perhaps I am over thinking this but it would seem the cover would only be a good idea after you wash the car. Once you drive it dirt, brake dust, etc will get on the paint, won’t use of the cover cause scratches at that point? Are you guys using these only to cover during the snow season?

I have a California Car Cover soft as flannel on my Carrera T. She’s stored in the garage and it protects from swirls and bumps.

Anyone have a good recommendation for an outdoor cover for a 911?

I have also have the California Car Cover Indoor Dustop and could not be happier. It's thick enough to protect the car from minor bumps. I think I paid $225.

I agree except March to mid-May.

The pollen falls and the rain gets it into every crevice. I know from other cars. My old 2014 Porsche 911 has to go outside due to the new addition (the old car has been driven in the rain 6 times).

I always run short of garage space before I get bored with the car.

I have both, the Coverking and the oem Porsche cover. IMHO the Coverking Satin Stretch is the best indoor cover.

I use the Coverking Coverbond 4.

https://www.coverking.com/moderate-w...rrera-gts.html

Pretty heavy duty, meant for out doors but use solely indoors. Awesome fit, provides solid dust and minor ding/scratch protection in the garage. It is bulky and you will never get it rolled up as tight as it was packaged after the first time you use it.

To address another comment would never use any cover unless car is absolutely spotless and waxed.
