Live dangerously and try a different color that is outside the box for you.

Default My Carrera 4 GTS Targa

Bought this in December. Had it trucked home (about 40 miles) due to weather and have yet to drive it. Not even at the dealer. Bought it off the showroom floor with 12 miles on it.

Great build! Love the sport design package.
Same deal with me, bought mine (very similar build) in December, drove home from dealer, placed on top of lift in my garage (wife's summer ride Mini s vert underneath) where it has remained. Just been staring at the bottom of my car every now and again. Can't wait for spring!

^^^^^ People ALWAYS want to see the top go up (down)...

@Baxter1949 We pretty much have twins...but you've got CL & better brakes...and tint (who did that for you?) I am super nervous about taking it in to get the rear tinted, did they do it in one solid piece or are there seams?

One sheet is possible. My tinter struggled with it, but finally got it after a few tries. He had to go with a regular tint as the ceramic tint would not form right on back.

I tried 4 times with 2 different tinters to use ceramic film on rear Targa glass. It cannot be done in one sheet without seams. It can be done with standard film, but very difficult

True - but only lasts 5 minutes. I will never have a black car again (made this decision years ago when I departed from my E39 M5...)

Pros and cons to everything.

I left black for dark blue. Marginally better but still super hard to keep clean. Doesn’t show dings and scratches as much either.

But if that car above was for sale when I did my build, I would have likely just forgotten about the allocation and bought that. It’s stunning.
