Default Cab rear window acting weird

Hello All,

Today I put my top down and noticed my passenger rear window goes up half way and then goes down, if I do this for 3 times the 3rd time goes up but not in auto up I have to click the switch a couple of times in order to get it all the way up, any idea what could be the problem? maybe bad battery?

Thanks in advance .

I had this same issue on my recently purchased cab. I found out that when they went to sell the car they removed the tint off the car. While doing so they just cut the tint you could see not fully properly removing the tint. They left excess tint and ahesive in the pocket, which i believe was the cause of the window. There is a sensor in there some where detecting it to go back down. There is also a window procedure reset you can try first.

I had same issue. Dealer replaced the "rear window mechanism" under CPO. They tested the other side and said failed and was replaced as well.

Try doing a window reset.

"Reset...hold the button to open the window until the window is fully open...hold it for 10 seconds in this position..repeat this with the window all the way up. Hold down (keep finger on button) and let it go dowan all the way and IMMEDIATELY (almost one complete motion) hold up and let it go up all the way."

Might simply need a track alignment.
