I agree with the majority here. It's your car. Do what makes you feel good every time you see and drive your car. A bonus is that I think a painted/powdercoated caliper will look neater than the base C2's anodized calipers which can start to look worn and rusty. Also, they should be easier to keep clean. Personally, I'm a fan of gloss black calipers. Subtle yet different.

End of the day... who cares what anyone else thinks. This is your car, as long as you are happy that's all that matters. Tune out all the opinions and live your life..

Normally I would agree with this but I saw yellow painted calipers on a base 911 cab and they looked great! Sure there was extra room between the caliper and the wheel barrel but it was fine.

I’m personally all for it.

I would not do it.

Only though because I once did and it it came out poorly. I was very unhappy with the results.

But if done right, I’m sure I’d be fine with it.

I'd previously noticed that our friends at Wheel Dynamics offer a caliper refinishing service and the photos they've posted look pretty darned good.
