Will 991 prices drop when 992 launches?

^^^I agree with that. The interior itself looks like a huge upgrade. I like all of the tech/gimmicky stuff. I’m looking forward to test driving one in the future.

I would like to test one as well although I will never buy one, but it will have to be a manual.

There seems to be a growing trend of 991.2's being built and delivered faster than usual. Mine appears to be arriving at the dealership about two months earlier than scheduled, including an unexpected one week wait at the port here in the US for some unspecified issue (dinged up, or whatever). I've seen others here on RL posting about their car arriving ahead of schedule as well.
Perhaps Porsche wants to clear out the production lines and make whatever changes are necessary for the 992s.

As far as PDI issue is concerned, my mom's Macan sat in PDI for a month so your few days is nothing, I wouldn't really worry about it. We found nothing wrong with her Macan upon inspection and it's been a year of fun driving for her.
Just don't get backed into on your test drive like me

Yeah, mine was here over a month early.

I think that the new car has already been priced into the entire used car market so I suspect no real move in prices when the 992 arrives in showrooms.
I was on the fence until I saw pictures of the new 2020 Porsche 911S (992) in the April, 2019 issue of Excellence magazine. It looks great.
The magazine also states that the new 2020 911S laps Nurburgring at 7:25 which is 5 seconds faster then the 991 and even 7 seconds faster than the 2004 Carrera GT. The new car will have a $113K MSRP (the 2004 Carrera GT had a $440K MSRP).

Odd. So I bought my 2014 TTS this time last year. I just did some looking at all the places I had book marked and most of the 2014 TTS's listed are selling for equal to or more than what I paid for mine. I will take that kind of non-depreciation.

Good for you. There is a whole thread in the 992 forum dedicated to puking on the 992, which many of us find ugly as **** in several ways.

Yeah, 992 praise should be given on the appropriate forum...you can say you like it but that's it.

Would you also like to criticize Excellence magazine in mentioning that the 2020 Porsche 911 S was very fast compared to the 991S and the 2004 Carrera GT?
Here is my 991.1. What is really bad about it?
I am the only owner.

I was just stating my opinion. I have no clue why you have such a negative opinion except it looks bad to you? You could explain your opinion?

I'm broke as **** at the moment and I can't buy anything, let alone a $150k car, but if I were in the market for a modern 911, I'd take a 991.2 over a 992 any day and twice on Sunday.

I could care less that is a little quicker with a professional driver around a track I will never drive on...a turd is still a turd.
