Your tastes and opinions sound pretty similar to mine. I also got a GT Silver with the Carrera sports, no keyless, find the Bose adequate, prefer a quieter car, and was also wondering where to stow my sunglasses. I bought one of those tacky rubber mats and plopped it right next to the sport chrono clock- holds the glasses fine w/in arms reach. I also pasted PPF over all the interior aluminum trim and portions of the center console to protect from my little dog's claws. (If you think the PDK shifter is too big BTW, you'll love the 992 micro-shifter)

Nah - the 992 shifter is not my thing.

Even though I got PDK in this car, I love this shifter in my Abarth 124

RE: Bose - it will sound better if you turn off surround, Surround gives it a tinny character. Much smoother with it off. Regarding quiet, et al, I bought my 991S as a GT, not a part time track car or boy racer. So I like the PDK, standard exhaust, standard PASM, etc. All about what you want out of a car.
