Thumbs up Vorsteiner 991.2 Aero release - Spring 2019

Anyone who has been seeking a 991.2 rear deck lid spoiler and likes this Vorsteiner design PLEASE PLEASE send an email to adrian@vorsteiner.com or support@vorsteiner.com. This rear deck spoiler is the nicest I have seen, I view it as a more aggressive OEM sports design version which is exactly what I was seeking.

I came across the old thread that Vorsteiner started back in the beginning of 2017, which was a teaser for the pending release of the aero line (front lip, rear deck lid and diffuser). It has never materialized and has remained "vapor ware" HOWEVER there must be interest as its had a lot of views.

So I decided to email Vorsteiner and ask them whats the scoop? You dropped a teaser 2 years ago which has had thousand of views, lots of positive comments and you haven't released a product. See below for the reply that I got from Adrian the North America account manager.

The summary is that it will apparently be released in 90 days? However not that I am skeptical but I think it would definitely assist this product materializing if like minded rennlisters who are interested voice support direct to Vorsteiner. Thanks

Very nice; I've been considering the OEM SD rear wing but I like this better since it's slightly exaggerated but not flagrantly so. I'd consider it if the price is right; OEM is ~1500 from Suncoast primed. I don't think it's made of carbon fiber like (I think) this one will be?

Please release this. I've had an idea in mind for a spoiler like this exactly as shown with the tip of that carbon fiber exposed. Beautiful.

If this is released at a more competitive price vs the Techart you can count me in.

I almost pulled the trigger on the OEM sport design this week. Then I decided to email Vorsteiner to check if they intend to produce their version. To be honest I did not expect a reply so I was excited to see they “might” release.

If you get a moment can you please drop Adrian at Vorsteiner an email. I’m not affiliated with Vorsteiner I’m just another interested buyer who would love to get one these installed on my GTS

I have no idea of the pricing but my gut says that it’s probably 50% less than the Techart. The Techart unit is too hardcore for me but there is a lot of components which makes it pricey!

If anyone receives any more info from Vorsteiner can you please post here so others can benefit.

I’m not affialiated with Vorsteiner but I have been logging posed questions and will send an email to Vorsteiner next week and see if they can provide any answers

Big thanks to those who have already emailed Vorsteiner, I am hoping that they may get active again on the Rennlist thread.

Email sent. ... if its carbon, ill take it raw/naked in a matte finish.

If its carbon I'd like to now weight savings over standard wing.

Only improvement would be to add little vertical sides like in the RS wing.

PS - good God is that rear diffuser going to be sold as well?
