I wanted to use the Alcantara ****, so I bought the OEM set. I had my guy change the stitching on both Alcantara and Leather to yellow, haven decided yet which boot I am going to use.
My guy just sent me the pictures, hand stitched.
He is working on the steering wheel next

Even easier, and usually better (less "gloppy"). Remove the **** first. Then, use a small brush and liberally fill the pattern. Let it dry slightly and wipe off the excess with a cloth rag that's dampened with paint thinner. Admittedly, it's a little scary the first time but so easy to fix.

Any tips on how to remove the shift ****? I have a local guy that will fill in the #s on mine with matching paint if I bring it to him.

Hey, Cyberbug, where did you get those stickers for the non-functioning buttons, i.e., the oil slick, smoke, etc.? I tried looking for them but only found an old thread from several years ago. Thanks.

And if someone can find decals for the empty buttons there will be a lot of interest...I looked online for these recently and none can be found. If some knows a printing/decal shop I am sure they could get some sets made though.
