I love my Porsche, so much that I wouldn't lock it up for the whole winter.. So this was yesterday

I just drive in clear, dry, salt free days. Like today.

I think this is my plan. Gotta wait for some rain to wash away the salt and sand.

When it's time to drive it always looks good and runs perfectly. Does that make it a queen? Maybe. But I have had a bunch of Pcars and this one is a long term keeper. Just finished our home in Florida and will drive it there in November so I can drive it in February with the windows down.
I applaud all of you who flog your cars in the dead of winter just not worth it to me.
This is my stance too. Yes, I have a heated garage queen as I don't need to use it as a DD. I love to drive my Porsche but I also love to keep it as new as I can. I don't do it for the next owner, I do it for me.

First garage queen winter for me, ever. Im trying to keep the underbits in good shape for a full exhaust install next month. Its been really, really, really hard. Not sure I can handle another season like this though. Got the wife a macan s that i drive hard occasionally but its not the same
Next year i will consider driving year round. Not for commuting tho. Winter sucks here.
Im a bit torn because I hate not getting my oil up to 210, and driving like a grandma wondering if that prius with bald *** all seasons will spin into me..

I don't drive the GTS or the M3 in the winter and keep both cars as pristine as possible which gives me great pleasure.
We have 2 DD beaters which more than suffice in the winter...

That rocks! Did some scouting in the last storm for open spaces to do similar, though unsanctioned, experiences.

Well done. Cheers.

I took her out! She didn't melt and all is good.

It's been cool and sunny over the weekend. Snow and ice in the forecast.

Had a blast. I'm not gonna wash it, just wait till the next sunny day to flog her again.

This is the coldest stretch I can recall in a long, long time. It's been -20 to -30 Celcius for a while here now. I'll be tempted to bring mine out early if we have a nice March.

Quick Reply: I'm thinking of bringing her out before spring.
