Trading a gt4 for a 911t-help me decide

I checked out the website for Porsche Beachwood. They seem to have another T for sale at $97,994, that is nicely optioned. I traded in my 718 Cayman GTS for a lightly used Carrera T, that I found online back in November. I think it is better to have the regular seats if you need the rear seats.

I'm not so sure. Bloated T's on the market and fewer properly spec'd T's, less quantities made then GT3's, last of the narrow bodied cars and better for the street. My bet is they will hold their own.

These help-me decide threads give me a headache. WTF Nanny State.

I would go with #2 for the simple fact that I don’t want a white car (you indicated you’re weren’t a fan of white either).

thanks-that’s what I wat leaning towards initially but my perception has changed based on the responses in this thread. Thank you all for your input, it is all helping to make an informed decision.

The GT4 is special. I would have a very hard time trading in a GT car for anything other than another GTsomething or Turbo. Hopefully keeping it is still an option.

can enjoy rather than just me.

^^^ These cars are only as special as we make them. What's more special, a car that is coveted and sits, or a car that is driven and is a memory machine for someone and their family?
Too many times around here we don't read what people write and then temper our responses to our own views or norms.
I'm biased. I think the T is special. But it's not because I think it will be a return on investment. It's because it's a return on my happiness. Every mile, chip, and bit of grit I need to scrub is a smile and earned.
I'm just weird that way. The only vehicles I think should be static and displayed are cars and bikes, in their scarred up war paint that have dominated competitions and earned a rest. Everything else is a crime to me...

Special is subjective. I've owned a GT4, 991.2 GT3 and 991 Turbo S. Honestly, I wasn't overwhelmed with the GT4. Gearing was long, felt underpowered and I just couldn't (and still can't) get into the Cayman body style. The GT3 feels special but it's just not a great road car, really needs to be on the track. The Turbo S? I was bored with it soon into ownership and sold it after two months. For road driving, I'd take the T over all of these.

do not do it
CPO can be wrecked in 3 panels. Dealers lie. Never hand anyone a check without a PPI with paint meter readings and laying your own eyes on the vehicle.
Thanks-the rws is that big of a difference huh? I appreciate the offer to check it out, really nice gesture. With it being cpo I’m not too worried-actually buying whichever one sight unseen as I am out of south Florida. Part of the deal is that shipping of both my car and the new car is included in the pricing.

Good advice-fortunately for me the Renn list community is awesome and Chuck (Carerra T) has already laid eyes on the car and driven it a bit-based on his feedback I am confident of the cars condition.
