thanks for that. I appreciate the feedback.

I’ve got a buddy that is a bit of a Porsche pro. His car collection is mind boggling.

He helped me with the build with the idea that it’ll be great for resale, when the time comes.

But yeah, my goal is to keep this baby a very long time.

ha. Thanks. Appreciate that.

Its actually named after after one of my (sadly now deceased) pups. He used to dive off the bed and looked like he was flying.

Its been my handle for over a decade.

Congrats on a beautiful model choice and color combo. Enjoy it in good health. I’ve never been a blue car guy, up until the last couple of years. I absolutely love the blues, and dark blue colors. Just seems simple and sophisticated, and that’s what I like. Lucky dog you.

Congratulations! I'm considering going in the opposite direction and getting an AMG GT but I want the variable traction control without the suspension or price tag of the R.

And it is being built.

Im told it should move fast now. They might even push the delivery date. Although I do have the dealer doing the clear wrap and putting in a radar detector, so it’ll be slightly longer.

But it at least it’s finally becoming real. I’ve got a busy month planned, so hopefully it’ll go by fast.

Cant come soon enough.....

Congratulations! That's awesome news. Hopefully it gets moved up significantly. Someone else posted the other day on another thread that theirs is six weeks ahead of schedule. Hopefully, that's a consistent trend as they complete the 991.2 run. I am also waiting on my car to be built (C2S, Night Blue, etc..), which is estimated start in seven days. Hope your Targa GTS is everything you hoped for and more...

Default Night Blue Metallic Targa 4S

Dawg, I wasn't a blue car guy either...until NBM caught my attention. Did have a Guards Red 997.2 Targa 4. Starting test driving the 991 Targas in 2016 and almost bought a '16 white Targa 4S and then a '17 Guards Red Targa 4S. Found a '19 NBM Targa 4S with 600 miles on the clock and pounced. So, a GTS with 450 hp is going to be a lot of car! My 4S at 420 hp is stout at that! You will love the NBM. It is a great color. I would suggest a ceramic coating and a clear bra if you haven't already opted. It will stay cleaner and look awesome. Congrats on the purchase!!!

Congrats! The 991 Targa 4 GTS could be the most beautiful 911 model ever made. I'm jealous of the 7MT! You will have a blast in that thing.

Yep. Is how it was for me. But mine showed up way early, as have others lately, so hopefully you’ll have it before long.

Is worth the wait. I got my GTS Feb 10th and have put about 1700 miles on it already, trying to get past the gentle break-in period as quickly as possible. Few hundred more miles and I can (a) do a post-break-in oil change and then (b) really stand on the go pedal.
