I also have them - my whole car is covered in ppf and i got a number of nicks in my film before buying these. if you are concerned about damage, I would either get a second ppf coat in the area (if it can be removed/replaced) or these magnetic ones if you are OK with the look.

You guys just helped me have a good idea! Although I'm not particularly a fan of the look, I'm not against it that much either. I think I'll get some anyway for days when I know I'll be doing backroad runs where there is likely to be some gravel. I slap them on in the morning and take them off when doing more modest outings.

Thanks!

I had a custom piece done with my PPF project cut along this picture. Did it as a single piece though considered a 2 piece.

How hard/ easy it is to replace the OEM fender stone guards? Do you spray the areas with water/ soap water when applying the new guards like tinting windows? I bought the replacement guards from Suncoast but never get around to do it. Thanks.

The magnetic guard is atrociously ugly.. Function over form as one mentioned.. I'd rather keep the stock piece and let it get dirty/trashed.. The black just looks cheap.
