Visited the Porsche Parts Dept. at Home Depot today, picked up my storage bin, hoping it fits as well as shown in this thread. Just a reminder that HD sells both a 27 & 17 gallon version of this black container with yellow lid, be sure to purchase the smaller of the two. Likely going to need to place a pad or rug in the bottom otherwise, items placed inside will certainly slide around and/or rattle.

let me see if i can find something that's about an inch wider

If someone finds a perfect fit for a 991.2 GTS Cab 2WD please post make model and where you bought it. The closest I have found was at Walmart but it's a little short and a little narrow, so it slides around. Thanks,

Got one, the same one shaginwagon bought.

I didn't want to spend nearly $200 for the Porsche bin & was thinking about buying the WeatherTech liner for $110 but, still way overpriced, IMO.

This s/b perfect.

Also prefer to empty out my car whenever has to be left with service & lifting out a bin easier than one by one, bringing stuff out.
I once had a rotisserie chicken in the frunk. On the way 5 min ride home a whole bunch of the liquid spilled out of the container. Had I not had the protection for the trunk floor (the Porsche trunk liner in this case) I'd have a stained carpet and stinky frunk. This accessory paid for itself on the spot. The Home Depot solution is nice because of the lid and how it may act as a shelf or divider. I suppose the lid can become a problem if you need to fit something in the tub that's taller than the sides of the tub but each solution is gonna have its limitations/drawbacks.

That feeling of having over spent will quickly go away the first time you have a spill that got contained by that tub!

I use the IKEA shopping bag for everything. The handles make it easy to put the bag into and out of the frunk. Heck I even use it as an overnight bag for clothes.

$1.49? What do you think, that we’re made out of money?

Got one today and fit in the 991.2 Carrera T. Although I feel like with the box my frunk got smaller.

Came across this while looking at a 2015 Carrera 4 GTS on-line.
I do not know if it is factory or aftermarket.

Alex, that's the OE Porsche frunk bin. And the red thing is the road hazard emergency thingy usually seen in Europe.

Not that I have looked, but I've never seen it listed anywhere. I take it it does not come with a plastic cover. I'm heading out to Home Depot to measure up the one listed by the OP to see if it fits a Carrera 4 GTS.

This one was in Australia. Incredible how much Porsches cost there. My GTS with my options goes for $404K in Oz. Nuts!

You can find them on websites like Suncoast's, for example. Correct, the Porsche bin does NOT include any type of lid.

This might be a better idea than the Home Depot solution

Obviously we are.

I mean, who else would have $151 for a Alcantara Key Case but a Porsche owner. Seriously, we're right up there with the Harley Davidson accessory pricing.

I confess that I have all my crap in a food-shopping bag to take up to the dealership tomorrow to take delivery on my GTS. Even cheaper than $1.49.

Getting paint-correction and PPF on Monday/Tuesday, after which I'm going to take some measurements and head to home depot and/or target to see what I can find. I might still get the Porsche one from Suncoast. But I'd also like to have one with a lid that seals up pretty tight, if I can find one. The lid can keep stuff from bouncing up and hitting the underside of the front trunk lid. Alternatively, I'd have to buy the lid liner thing.
