A few photos from the UK Autotrader (using keyword 'delete'), the resolution is poor. They do all appear to be consistently lower then OPs.

OP - Note the letters are on the same level as the points on the taillights and yours are higher, which I assume you know by now based on the recent posts.

What color is your GT3? Nice.

Go out and measure. If your "P" is closer than 2 11/16" from the light strip then they installed it too high.

Here is photo home from the dealer...

2 11/16 from the top or from the bottom of the light strip?

Bottom. Use the detailed diagram shared above. The duplicate colors means they share the same measurements.

The letters are positioned ever so slightly different on certain letters to make a very subtle arch. It is not correct to use a straight edge and line them across like Scrabble :-)

trust me on this. I work with type all day.

I trust you, but on my car if I measure 2 11/16 from the light strip, the letters look way below the > < from the tail lights. Anyway. I am happy with how it looks.

Also, I just measured this one from the dealer which is just PORSCHE with model delete. https://www.porschebellevue.com/new/...cd254ea359.htm

I went and measured it, the distance from the top of "S" to the top edge of the bumper was 2.4675" (which is less than 2 11/16 or 2.6875").

Can you measure yours for me? I also have a 991.1 and am looking for the proper placement. Thanks in advance.

yes the S should be shorter distance from the light strip than the P. This is reflected in the diagram above.

While on the subject of lettering and re-lettering, what is the best way to remove existing letters without damaging paint/clearcoat?
