Default Re-badging 991 with PORSCHE letters

How does this look? Seems to me like the PORSCHE letters need to go a bit lower (maybe an inch). (I used a template that was made off of another 911 C4S, but it had 911 Carrera 4S below the PORSCHE letters, which I am skipping.)

Agree, a bit lower. Re-badging? Did you take off the original lettering? Could swing by your local dealer for some measurements.

The PPF folks took it off, yes. Good idea to measure at the dealer.

Great idea. Go there on a Sunday with some calipers and you will measure it all out fairly quickly. Good luck.

This is what my car looks like from the factory with model delete option. By the way, it also shows pretty nicely the difference between Rhodium and GT silver...

It’s worth it to find someone who has the template. The PORSCHE is actually slightly curved.

@Bucaro
Since you have the car with the Model Delete (just PORSCHE logo on the back), could you do me (and probably others on this forum) a favor?
Could you post the measurements (A, B, C, D) below?
A is the shortest distance from the top edge, middle of S to where the top edge of the bumper
B is measured from the bottom edge, middle of S to the curve of the bumper (this is probably less precise due to the curvature).
C is the distance between the bottom left corner of P and the left edge of the bumper (the line that visually intersects with the > of the left tail light). D - similar thing on the right side.

As you have probably guessed by now when one orders a car with the model deleted they center PORSCHE, which means is it lower. Since you took your measurements off a car that did not have the model deleted that is why yours are too high. You can ask your dealer who they use for their body work and see if they will put them on for you since they will probably not loan you the one they have since they are expensive. And yes, there is a slight curve (end letters are higher).

Actually, all I did was use a template that I got from a collision shop that was made off of another car, and vertically centered the PORSCHE sign so the base of the P is aligned with the widest part of the tail-light - this is how it seems to be on model-deleted vehicles. The letters on the photo are not permanently stuck, I used scotch tape. Being OCD, I would really love someone one who has a model-deleted vehicle to post the measurements, so we all know.
Ack on the curve, the idea is a constant distance from the bottom of the bumper (which is also curved).
Dealer wants 1hr of labor + purchase the part from them, so that's around $300.

Do a search of this forum as I know it has been discussed before as I have read it.

I did - I could find the horizontal measurement (14.5 cm on left and right), but not the vertical. I am talking about 991.1/991.2.
