Once you remove the front bumper assy. then the headlight washers are easy to remove. Each washer is held in place with some plastic clips. Thats how it is on my 2013CS. I'll cap off the washer at the pump, and remove the fuse.

Mine don't work unless you hit the little button on the stalk.
From the 991.2 owners manual..."After every 10 wipes of the windshield, the headlights are cleaned automatically."

Also, you can activate the headlight washers separately by turning on the headlights and pressing the button on the wiper lever.

Really? I was just thinking that in a year of driving, I have never even thought about how to operate those things. Now I know. Thanks!

Interesting. Just read that same thing in the 991.1 manual but mine have never gone off automatically.

I'm guessing I don't activate the washers for 10 wipes ....might have to do this the next time before I wash the car to see if it works.

I must admit that I've never used headlight washers (on any car) voluntarily. If they've automatically activated, I've no idea. I really just wish they'd never put those little blackheads on my car.

Wonder if you disconnect the Porsche pump for the headlights it would trigger some code.

I did on my previous Audi's w/o issue.

They make an awful mess, if they go off when going slowly in traffic, and it is sprinkling just enough to keep the "rain sense" wipers churning albeit slowly. They spray washer fluid all over the hood, and there isn't enough rain to wash it off, and it eventually dries there. I learned my lesson, and leave the rain sense function off until it is raining enough that it is helpful. For intermittent sprinkling, I just use the one swipe on the stalk as needed, so the 10 count never gets past one.
