Default 2 Step limiter on porsche 991.

Hello ,I’m interested in buying a porsche 991.1 carrera s with a manual transmission,so if i want the motor to limit itself so i there can be some popping in the exhaust.
Is it possible to install a 2 Step limiter on a porsche 991 carrera s?
Thanks in advance.

Not quite clear about what you mean about a limiter but if you will get exhaust pooping in Sport mode, and a pair of high-flow cats will make it sound much better.

He basically wants launch control so he can drive around making it pop and bang.

I think based on your question, you want to make sure to get a car with PSE.

It pops and bangs with PSE very easily even with just some throttle modulation.

It actually does it when you let off the throttle.

Look up the dumb tune's the bmw's are doing for their 2-step on youtube, I'd venture to say this guy's trying to replicate that.

You need a turbo first...
Then you'd need to get a tune with a limiter function.

Possible, yes. Not at all easy.

Probably could be done with a 991.2 once the tuning is properly figured out. I wouldn't do it unless you're actually racing.
