Carrera T + more power = the perfect driver's car?

The Litchfield conversion is ~ $USD14,000 - alternate suggestion buy two OEM GTS turbos add Cobb tune ~ 550HP

^^^ Thanks, guys.
The full Litchfield package is more than just a power boost. The figure quoted above would also include handling package (shorter and stiffer KW springs, spacers all around and new bushes) plus Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, plus power boost/tune, plus some of their own fabricated parts. For a 370hp Carrera T, 480hp will be enough for me, I think.

Were you able to make it out last weekend? I have not seen any reasonable 60-130's on this M660 and have not seen any valid times. Please show us something GOOD! Really hoping you have a low six to post bud.

You do realise that you can get the KW springs for around 500 bucks (slightly more or less depending on your location). Cobb tune plus springs = $2,500. Won't make 480HP but will definitely make at least 420HP. To make 480HP (and being a Litchfield product it will be a genuine 480 - note their stock dyno run) without changing to larger turbos (turbines) will likely deliver a very early and peaky drive - . Thats why it may be a better idea to go to the GTS turbos along with a better option for future proofing e.g. new S is 530NM and 450PS and the new GTS will have 550Nm (same as the .2 GTS) and 475HP. Honestly the springs are cheap as chips, easy install and finish off with a new alignment.
Thanks. All advice is appreciated.
Cheers.

My goals are to strip as much as 200 pounds out of the car and get the power around 400 - 420 HP.
Plans so far:
1. Kline inconnel headers & exhaust,
2. Rear seat removal,
3. lighter wheels.
4. stiffer KW spring, sway bars(?)
5. bushing (?) .... any option ideas welcome
Would upgrading to the Carrera S turbos negate need to do a tune to get to ~400-420HP? Concerned about turbo lag with GTS turbos.
How much are they?

The Carrera is fairly light already, so reducing weight gets exponentially expensive. It's cheaper to gain performance by adding HP. And/or find more cost efficient weight reduction locations. Changing to a lithium battery can knock off an easy 30lbs for in the ballpark of $1500. Another good spot to reduce mass are the wheels. Carbon Revolution has carbon fiber wheels for about $12k. They are roughly 20% lighter than stock which are roughly 25 lbs each (ave of front and rear). So about 5lbs a wheel, 20 lbs total. More importantly, that's rotational mass and unsprung mass.

Just a note, it's roughly an $8k premium to go inconel over the base stainless steel. Power should be the same. So it's $8k to save about 8.5kg = 18.7lbs . Curb weight is roughly 1450kg depending on options and all that. So, $8k to reduce your mass by about 0.59%. Assuming your base hp is 420hp, then that's about equivalent to adding 2.5hp.

Forgot Li battery was on the list.
The draw for the inconnel over SS is the sound difference ... and the extra heat /durability...
Plan do everything in phases to give me time to save and more importantly see more options come online

Looking at the ideas to improve the T throughout this thread.
Am I the only one that wishes the wheels came in a 19” size standard?
On a less is more platform, seems like smaller/lighter wheels would have been appropriate, JMO.

I got a 19” winter wheel/tyre set from Porsche at a reasonable price. Or you could get a set of Carrera 19” wheels wth summer tyres to replace your 20”s, then sell on your 20” wheels/tyres...
