Snowing in NoVA so i decided to spend some time doing do some detailing. Had the car hand washed Friday and have spent the weekend applying 4 coats of Zaino Z2. Still working on finishing up with Z8 and buff the wheels. More pics to come.

Thanks. Just Zaino Z2 and Z9 Grand Finale. Need to get some Z5 for small swirls - ran out.

My fist polish since I got it. Overall I'm pretty happy with the condition of the paint. Discovered a few chips as would be expected. But pleasantly surprised, not many swirls.

Beautiful! I just picked up a black car -- my first for over 20 years -- so I am about to embark on finding out a polish/regimen that works for me.

Bob Z. - not sure about sheen. The wheels are color matched painted Basal black. I used 2 coats of Z2 to polish them. Hope that answers your question. Although not recommended, I toped them with a 3rd coat of Rejex. Can't hurt.

There is something special of a clean black car. I've had a few in my life - BMW Carbon black E36 M3 and E60 M5. Love that color. As you probably know, the tricky bit it keeping them clean. What did you get?
