I have a lightly optioned 2013 C2 cabriolet (platinum silver, PDK, full Carrera red natural leather, nav, premium package, 14-way sport seats) for sale in the classifieds. It just had its annual service last week, is CPO through March of 2020, $109k sticker. $62k (car is in Boston). PM or email rp911@yahoo.com .

Now looking at this new listing on CarMax: https://www.carmax.com/car/16756153
Any idea on how much CarMax would charge for their 5 year warranty on this car?

And I hear a lot of Sport Chrono is a must but this car doesn't have it. Is that option that important? It's not like I will be launching the car at every red light.

EDIT: Oh wait this car does have sport chrono! Got my hands on the build sheet here https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0CB2A95CS154423/ MSRP of $132k, now highly interested in this vehicle.
But this car suffered an accident in 2013...

Thanks

And sorry vjd3 the red interior is not my cup of tee Good luck in your sale though!

A loaded 2013 C2S manual with 27k miles sold on here for $65,500 just a couple of months ago. Shop private party: you won't have any trouble getting a good car in the low to mid 60's. Plus, you might actually know something about the service history!

Why do you feel you need it? Just as a CYA? If so, figure out what that's worth to you, and walk if it's more than that. Realize that these warranty plans make the warranter money... IE, most don't pay off. You're buying insurance against a low-probabilty PDK failure or engine blow-up...

My car has it. I never use it. I run my car in Sport mode, and paddle shift it. Also, you'll probably want a steering wheel with real paddles for that sweet PDK, so budget for that... some folks like the sliders, I despised them.

Yeah, if you see the clock wart on the dash, the car has SC.
