Default 991.2 911 4gts

Hi, my dads recently got a new 991.2 4gts and we’ve found that the exhaust crackles in sport mode with sport exhausts aren’t as loud As the one we test drove. Is this because the car needs to be run in more as it’s only one 200 miles or...?

It will get a little louder over time but not that much so just add a pair of high-flow cats, such as the Soul Performance ones I put on, and you both will be very satisfied.

By the time you've broken in the car (~4k miles) you'll definitely notice a difference. Also, if you drive more aggressively, you'll hear a difference.

Don't wait that long, 2k miles is more than enough and if you have doubts consult the owner's manual.

Exactly. I have the 991.2 C4 GTS with Soul cats. Perfect setup.

My bad. Break-in miles = 2,000, don't exceed 4,000 RPM.
