Default Oil change reset / OBD tool or Durametric

I just did an oil change in my 16 GTS. What are folks using to reset the oil change notice on the computer? Looks like the Icarsoft POR II is the way to go, but any other feedback or suggestions welcome before I buy one. Also, if you're selling one or something similar, DM me.
Cheers!

I've had the POR II since I got my 997 and love it. I haven't found a thing I can't do with it.

So you can actually reset the annoying oil warning with something other than Durametric? That's awesome news. Any links to the correct 'POR II' tool to buy, please? And is there a special software you need to buy, or can you just erase the stupid warnings right off the bat? Oh, for a 2015 Carrera S. Many thanks.

I don’t believe the Durametric works to reset codes for the 991 generation. Need the PIWIS tool from Porsche.

Yes, just google "POR II Icarsoft porsche" it resets the oil change notice and other maintenance notices

i think it covers most porsche cars going back to 997 generation as well as Cayenne.

Just reset mine yesterday with a POR II. Worked great, took less than 5 minutes on my 2014 C4S. If you get one you may want to make sure it is up to date with it's firmware before using it.

I've had one of these for a couple years that I bought when I had my 997. I've been thinking about checking for a firmware update, but I've read that the updates can be problematic. Anyone have any first-hand experience?

Worked very easily for me, including doing the initial software update as recommended when I unboxed it.

I was actually looking at both the POR II and V2.0 last night and trying to find the difference. Priced exactly the same. I seem to recall someone saying the II did battery reset as well, but not certain.

Does anyone here use the V2.0 with a 991.2? Seemed like everyone said they had the II.

There are 3 actually P700 v2.0, POR v2.0 and POR II

POR II does not have BMS function, but I don’t see any difference between P700 and POR v2.0

i called the company several times but got routed to china every time.
i have sent an email hopefully will get a response.
